The Buckaroo This sonorous little guitar is ready to be your new favorite. Closely patterned after a 1937 Gibson L-OO, it has a Sitka Spruce top and bracing, maple bridgeplate, Claro Walnut back, sides, and neck, Brazilian Rosewood bridge, a bound Palisander Fretboard, Evo fretwire, vintage accurate 1 3/4″ Ebony nut, 2 3/8″ string spacing, a bone through-saddle, a soft-v carve to the neck, Black oil varnish finish, celluloid binding, and a custom white pickguard.
This guitar is loud and articulate, it is round and woody, perfect for fingerpicking and old-time fiddle backup. It feels great behind a singer, and the whole guitar vibrates like crazy at your touch. Chris Miller and Aaron Tacke built this guitar using mostly hide glue using traditional processes in 10 days time, and it can be yours (with a tweed case!).
